CXT Software is seeking an AI-Native VP of Software Engineering to lead our global, remote SaaS organization. You will own people, architecture, quality, delivery, production reliability, and customer outcomes, guiding AI-driven development across our stack.

Reporting to the CTO, you will shape how we build and run software, verify adoption by real behavior, and drive evolution with evidence. You will be measured on reliability, cycle time, and customer impact.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership.
• 2+ years managing managers and multiple teams across products.
• Led multi-team orgs through managers, across codebases with legacy modernization.
• Led engineering for a B2B SaaS product with production operations: reliability, incidents, security, cloud costs.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and adoption across teams with measured results.
• Hands-on with flow-based delivery (Kanban) at scale, CI/CD, testing, and release mgmt.
• Reads code and reviews architecture; experience in our stack is a plus.
• Led a remote, distributed engineering org with professional English and North American overlap.

• Lead, hire, and develop Directors, architects, and teams.
• Make AI-assisted development and operations fundamental; verify adoption by real behavior.
• Run engineering experiments with baselines and clear scale decisions.
• Own quality, releases, and production reliability: uptime, SLAs, on-call, incidents, security operations, and cloud cost.
• Own architecture across products, including legacy modernization and AI-generated code standards.
• Plan and deliver roadmap with Product, raise trade-offs early, drive customer escalations to root cause with Customer Success.
