A growing legal firm is seeking a full-time remote Staff Lawyer to assist in their Pre-Litigation department. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Key responsibilities include supporting the department’s various tasks, managing claims, and client communication. Knowledge of personal injury law is an advantage, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. This role allows you to work 40 hours per week at a pay rate of $6 to $8 per hour, fully remote.

Formación

• Experience with USA personal injury law is a plus.
• Experience with USA legal firms is preferable.
• Ability to collect data and learn quickly.

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time remote Staff Lawyer / Legal Assistant to assist in our Pre‑Litigation department. Must be bilingual (English–Spanish). Your day‑to‑day activities will vary, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the department with various tasks (Pre‑Litigation).
• Set up claims and follow up on coverage and policy limits.
• Draft Letters of Representation (LORs).
• Send Welcome Letters to clients.
• Relabel file documents and secure clean client records.
• Order Police Reports.
• Request Med Pay.
• Send disengagement letters to providers/clients with attorney approval (using template).
• Order medical records and bills.
• Send medical referrals.
• Generate disbursement sheets.
• Send Open Records Requests to Police Department (using template) and Non‑Spoliation Letter.
• Handle case load under attorney supervision.
• Provide support for the attorney's case load.
• Handle client communication.

Required Qualifications

• Law graduate or student.
• Experience with USA personal injury law is a plus.
• Experience with USA legal firms is preferable.
• Must be bilingual (English–Spanish) or trilingual (English, Arabic, Spanish).

• Fully bilingual (English).
• PC or laptop with wired internet connection recommended.

• Remote job; responsible for local taxes.

Compensation & Work Details

• Job type: Full–time Independent Contractor.
• Pay: $6–$8 per hour (remote).
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• Location: Remote.
