WSP is seeking an Intermediate Transportation Designer to join our Transportation & Infrastructure team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. You will contribute to planning and design of roadway, intersections, roundabouts, active transportation and transit facilities for municipal, provincial, and private sector clients.

You will develop practical, constructible designs, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and mentor junior designers while ensuring compliance with TAC guidance and standards.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on transportation engineering.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer, or eligible for P.Eng designation.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of roadway/intersection/roundabout design and active transportation.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN for design deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support transportation design assignments for roadways and intersections.
• Prepare and review design drawings, briefs, memos, quantities, and estimates.
• Apply design standards and sound engineering judgement to practical solutions.
• Coordinate roadway design elements including alignments and roundabout geometry.
• Develop multimodal accommodations and review design elements for safety.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and project managers.
• Support project management, field reviews, and construction-phase activities.
