WSP is seeking a Senior BIM Designer to join the Water-Wastewater group in Bogotá. The role will involve preparing contract drawings from survey to tender and building 3D models of wet and dry utilities.

Responsibilities include 2D/3D drafting, plan and profile work, coordination with designers and PMs, and producing accurate utility models. Strong English communication and leadership skills are essential.

Formación

• 10+ years in civil engineering CAD drafting and design.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D drafting, plan & profile drawings, and standard details.
• Experience coordinating with designers and Project Managers and interpreting markups.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in 2D/3D drafting for civil drawings and model creation using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Prepare plan and profile drawings, sections and standard details.
• Coordinate with designers and Project Managers.
• Interpret design markups and as-builts.
• Produce 3D models of utilities with proper networks and connections.
• Follow CAD standards for multiple municipalities.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

WSP is currently seeking a Senior BIM Designer to join our Water-Wastewaster group. This position will be responsible for helping prepare contract drawings from survey to tender and build 3d models of wet and dry utilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in projects involving 2D/3D drafting civil engineering drawings and model creation using Civil 3d and Microstation
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings, sections and standard details
• Coordination with designers and Project Managers
• Interpreting design markups and asbuilts
• Producing 3d models of wet and dry utilities using pressure and gravity networks
• Following design guidelines and CAD standards for multiple municipalities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering related field
• 10+ years in using Civil 3d and Microstation including InRoads designing watermains, sewers, dry utilities
• Expert knowledge of municipal engineering concepts;
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Autodesk Forma and Bluebeam Studio
• General knowledge of Navisworks and Revit, GIS and ISO 19650 standards
• Experience with a variety of CAD standards with an ability to multitask
• Previous experience with Dynamo and Open Roads Designer an asset
• Well organized with leadership skills;
• Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills;
• Self motivated and willingness to learn new things;
