WSP en Colombia seeks a Civil 3D Modeler to develop and maintain 3D models and drawings for municipal infrastructure, transportation, and water projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our global network to ensure design deliverables meet standards and client requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, proficiency in English, and a strong commitment to quality.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D components including corridors, alignments, grading, surfaces and pipe networks.
• Experience on municipal infrastructure, roadway, land development or water projects.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of BIM methodologies and multidisciplinary coordination is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a global team.

Role Summary

The Civil 3D Modeler is responsible for developing, maintaining and coordinating 3D models and engineering drawings for municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development and water projects using Autodesk Civil 3D. The role supports multidisciplinary teams by producing high-quality design deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements, technical standards and WSP quality procedures, while collaborating with project teams across Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain Civil 3D models for municipal infrastructure, transportation and land development projects.
• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, grading designs, utility layouts and corridor models.
• Generate engineering drawings and construction documentation from Civil 3D models.
• Create and manage surfaces, alignments, pipe networks, corridors and quantity calculations.
• Coordinate design information with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, environmental and transportation disciplines.
• Support engineers with design development, technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with project standards, client requirements and WSP CAD/BIM procedures.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and support the resolution of technical issues.
• Review drawing packages for quality, consistency and completeness before submission.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practices in Civil 3D modeling.

Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Drafting, Civil Design Technology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience developing engineering models and drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D including corridors, alignments, grading, surfaces and pipe networks.
• Experience working on municipal infrastructure, roadway, land development or water projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of BIM methodologies and multidisciplinary project coordination is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a global team environment.
