Triol Corporation in Bogota seeks a Technical Support Engineer with a background in electrical equipment or power electronics. You will establish strong relationships with customers, provide on-site commissioning support, assist with product configuration, and ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.

You will troubleshoot technical issues, participate in testing, and help plan spare parts and service activities across our regional operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or two-year technical degree with additional 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with industrial technical equipment (commissioning, servicing, maintenance, or technical support at customer sites).
• Ability to analyze project documentation (drawings, diagrams).
• Proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on understanding client needs and expectations.
• Ability to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting pilot tests, perform commissioning new equipment at customer sites and providing support to the service team during commissioning and operations.
• Collecting and identify information on technical problems of the customer, to formulate proposals to improve the performance of the equipment in operation, technical process of customers.
• Perform out repairs of equipment. Maintain records and planning of spare parts for timely uninterrupted product service in the region.
• Consult the Customer's representatives on service maintenance and operation of the equipment.
• Collect and identify information on technical problems of the customer, to formulate proposals to improve the performance of the equipment in operation, technical process of customers.
• Participating in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions developed to improve the quality of equipment delivered to Customers.

The Export Sales Department in Bogota is responsible for the sales of power electronics equipment for various oil & gas and industrial markets. Customers typically include oil service companies, OEMs, EPCs, and dealers in industrial sectors. The equipment we develop, manufacture, and service primarily includes low- and medium-voltage drives, downhole sensors, and linear ESP systems.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a technical background in electrical equipment or power electronics to become part of our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with customers, providing technical support during commissioning and system start-ups, assisting with product configuration, and ensuring that customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately

Job Specifications:

• Possession of complex measuring instruments (oscilloscope, megohmmeter, network analyzer, etc.)
• Experience with artificial lift system
• Experience with programing logical controllers
• Electrical safety certificate above 1000 V, certificate permitting work on offshore platforms
• B-category driver's license
