Job summary

Rootstack is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of software projects and digital products in Medellín. You will define priorities, coordinate backlogs with business stakeholders and technical teams, and ensure timely delivery with quality outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar PM role, a STEM degree, and strong English for international client meetings. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams while promoting Agile

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2) for meetings with international clients.
• Experience managing software development projects with technical teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
• Understanding of software development processes, APIs, and technologies.
• Ability to define, prioritize, and track requirements.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of software projects and digital products.
• Define priorities and coordinate the backlog with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure projects meet timelines, scope, quality standards, and objectives.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements.
• Coordinate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers with mitigation plans.
• Monitor progress through KPIs and status reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and promote continuous optimization.
• Ensure delivered solutions generate business value and provide a positive user experience.
