Colibrí IT is seeking a Salesforce Technical Consultant to join our boutique team. You will design, build and validate Salesforce components, integrate with external systems and ensure code quality and security across projects in Colombia, Chile and Panama.

You will work with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and APIs, mentor junior consultants, estimate effort, and contribute to AI-enabled development to enhance solutions and delivery. English at B1+ is required.

Formación

• We are seeking graduates in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields with 3 years of professional software experience.
• English proficiency at B1 level or above is required.
• Experience with Salesforce development, integrations and AI-assisted development is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Build and validate Salesforce components of intermediate complexity meeting project standards.
• Analyze requirements, estimate work, identify risks, and coordinate workstreams with associates and juniors.
• Integrate, validate, test, and document developments; propose improvements for quality and maintainability.
• Work with AI tools for technical analysis, code generation and testing within defined governance.

At Colibrí IT we are a boutique consultancy specializing in Salesforce, Field Service, Agentforce and Artificial Intelligence. We work on digital transformation projects for organizations across Colombia, Chile and Panama, and our team holds more than 70 active certifications.

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Consultant to join our team. This position carries the duties of a Consultant, contributing to the construction and integration of enterprise solutions on Salesforce.

What you will do as a Consultant

You will build and validate components or modules of intermediate complexity, making sure they meet the requirements, acceptance criteria and technical standards set for the project.

You will analyze functional and technical requirements, estimate the effort of the work under your responsibility, and identify risks, dependencies and deviations. You will coordinate your workstream technically and guide Associate and Junior Consultants when they contribute to it.

You will also integrate and validate the components you develop, run tests, document technical decisions, and propose improvements that raise the quality, efficiency and maintainability of our solutions.

Your role as a Salesforce Technical Consultant

On the projects where you are assigned as a Technical Consultant, you will build the capabilities that call for custom development — the ones beyond what the platform can do declaratively.

You will work with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, APIs and integrations, building business logic, interfaces and technical components. You may also take part in integrating with external systems, transforming and migrating data, and developing the services or components a solution needs to be complete.

You will be responsible for your work being tested, maintainable, secure and consistent with the design agreed for the project, and you will support its integration with the components other members of the team build.

Artificial Intelligence is also part of how we develop software. You will be able to use it for technical analysis and design, generating and reviewing code, building tests, documentation, troubleshooting and refactoring — always keeping professional judgment over what gets delivered.

The goal is not simply to write code. We want you to build the judgment to understand a technical problem, design a solution that fits it, and answer for its construction and integration within a workstream.

Requirements

What we look for in this position

We are looking for graduates in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields, with 3 years of professional experience and a track record of building software.

To work on our projects and keep developing your career with us, you will need English at B1 level or above.

We expect solid grounding in object-oriented programming, data structures, REST APIs, systems integration, databases, Git, automated testing and good software development practice.

We value experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, the Salesforce CLI and Salesforce DX, along with data integration and migration. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer set a candidate apart.

We want you to bring the fundamentals and the experience to take on a technical workstream independently and guide other members of the team.
