Waters is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for our Bogotá site. You will monitor orders, manage inventory metrics, and secure supply for strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

With a strong foundation in operations and analytics, you will drive improvements across planning, forecasting, and replenishment, collaborating across regional teams to meet business goals and ensure product availability.

Formación

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Production, Logistics, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
• MBA in Supply Chain, Planning or Analytics is desirable.
• Training in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and Demand Forecasting.
• Experience in regional or multinational environments.
• Familiarity with complex supply chains.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and manage purchase orders ensuring timely execution and data accuracy.
• Provide visibility on supply constraints, risks and availability dates.
• Analyze inventory coverage (DOS) and root causes of deviations.
• Manage SKU replenishment under ROP and MTO to ensure supply continuity.
• Monitor and mitigate backorders to minimize customer impact.
• Address business inquiries with clear and timely communication.
• Oversee Phase-In/Phase-Out processes for smooth transitions.
• Ensure supply availability for key projects.
• Maintain planning parameters and review inventory policies (DOH).
• Ensure availability and traceability of equipment and components aligned with demand forecasts.

Job Description Responsabilidades Clave

• Monitorear y gestionar las órdenes de compra, asegurando su ejecución oportuna y la precisión de la información en los sistemas.
• Proporcionar visibilidad sobre restricciones de suministro, riesgos y fechas estimadas de disponibilidad a las partes interesadas.
• Analizar la cobertura de inventario (DOS, Days of Supply) e identificar las causas raíz de las desviaciones, impulsando acciones correctivas.
• Gestionar el reabastecimiento de SKU bajo esquemas ROP (Reorder Point o Punto de Reorden) y MTO (Make to Order o Fabricación Bajo Pedido) para garantizar la continuidad del suministro.
• Supervisar y mitigar los pedidos pendientes (Backorders o BO) para minimizar el impacto en los clientes.
• Atender consultas del negocio y garantizar una comunicación clara y oportuna.
• Supervisar los procesos de introducción y retiro de productos (Phase-In / Phase-Out) para asegurar transiciones fluidas.
• Garantizar la disponibilidad de suministro para proyectos clave.
• Mantener los parámetros de planificación y revisar las políticas de inventario (por ejemplo, DOH, Days on Hand).
• Asegurar la disponibilidad y trazabilidad de equipos y componentes, incluyendo la alineación con los pronósticos de demanda.

Título universitario en: Administración de Empresas. Ingeniería (Industrial, Producción, Logística o afines). Economía. Estadística o Matemáticas.

• Postgrado o MBA en Cadena de Suministro (Supply Chain), Planificación o Analítica.
• Formación especializada en S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), Planificación de la Demanda o Forecasting (Pronóstico de la Demanda).

Diferenciadores (especialmente en entornos LATAM o globales)

• Experiencia en entornos regionales o multinacionales.
• Familiaridad con cadenas de suministro complejas.
