1840 & Company seeks a finance leader who blends solid accounting with advanced FP&A, commercial judgment, and AI/automation mindset. This hands-on director will own monthly close, build scalable finance infrastructure, and partner with founders to plan scenarios and dashboards.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in finance with SaaS and recurring-revenue experience, strong modeling skills, and the ability to translate numbers into business actions in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Approximately 7–12+ years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong accounting, Controller, public accounting, and/or audit foundation.
• Meaningful FP&A experience including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, tech-enabled business with SaaS/recurring revenue knowledge.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience developing management reporting and dashboards.
• Understanding of cash flow, margins, unit economics, and drivers of growth.
• Interest in AI, automation, and modern financial tech.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly close and ensure accurate, timely financial statements.
• Maintain financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting processes.
• Oversee general ledger integrity and outside accounting relationships.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, payables, receivables, and core finance activities.
• Improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency of close and reporting.
• Build scalable financial processes and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts.
• Create management reporting explaining business drivers and profitability.
