Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Change Order Manager to lead budget creation for change orders, coordinating with project management, functional leads, and financial analysts. You will prepare variance analyses for client presentations and help track change order metrics across the program.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and experience with costings in a budgeting context, with a focus on accuracy and clear communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, finance/accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in proposal or change order preparation using an Excel-based costing tool.
• Strong understanding of project budgets and financial analysis; advanced Excel skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead change order budget creation activities between project management, functional leads, and financial analysts.
• Explain and provide variance analysis for change orders for client presentation.
• Track and record change order requests to develop departmental metrics.
• Lead or participate in internal and client calls on a routine basis.
• Schedule and lead the change order alignment calls with the extended project team.
• Prepare, edit, and customize change order text to reflect budget, assumptions, resourcing, and financial requirements.
• Incorporate vendor and partner change orders into the main change order as applicable.
• Ensure all information is accurate including assumptions, processes, changes from prior agreements including resourcing updates and timeline shifts.
• Meticulous review of financial formulas, cross checks, and testing.
