Sonatype, a software supply chain security leader, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead agentic-first capabilities in Nexus Repository Manager. You will set technical direction, orchestrate fleets of agents across parallel streams, and mentor Senior engineers to deliver enterprise-grade security-focused solutions.

You will collaborate with Product, Security, UX, and Support to translate customer needs into concrete, scalable plans, driving performance and reliability at scale.

Formación

• Strong experience designing multi-agent systems and long-running workflows.
• Ability to define evals, guardrails, and review rituals for ship-ready code.
• Experience mentoring engineers and shaping internal engineering practices.
• Deep knowledge of software supply chain threats and SBOM formats.

Responsabilidades

• Define the technical direction for agentic features in Nexus Repository Manager.
• Architect major subsystems and coordinate multi-team agent workflows.
• Mentor Senior engineers and codify engineering practices across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, UX and Support to translate customer needs into concrete plans.
• Ensure performance, reliability and security for large-scale distributed systems.
