Sonatype is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of agentic-first capabilities in Nexus Repository Manager. You will set technical direction, orchestrate fleets of agents, and mentor Senior engineers to secure software supply chains at scale.

You will collaborate with Principal engineers to tackle hard problems at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, and security, shaping the engineering practices that other teams will learn from.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Staff-level engineering capable of leading multi-quarter initiatives across teams.
• Strong experience with Java and large-scale distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and lead with agents: design major agentic-first subsystems across architecture and data models.
• Own a product area: drive initiatives from design to operability across teams.
• Define evals, harnesses, and review rituals for shipping code with human oversight.
