BairesDev is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer – Python to join a 100% remote team delivering scalable backend services used by global clients. You will shape architecture, own features end to end, and mentor teams across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of backend experience, deep Python skills, and strong cloud and data-store knowledge (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB). Excellent English and collaboration are required.

Competenze

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or ECS.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Staff Backend Engineer – Python at BairesDev

In this role, you'll bring deep technical expertise to the backend systems behind products serving millions of collectors. This is a hands-on position where your judgment on architecture and design directly raises the bar for the whole team. This is your opportunity to influence technical direction across projects while staying close to the code.

What You'll Do
