Zimmer Biomet is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and models in Snowflake and cloud environments. You will develop Python-based processing, automate workflows, and ingest diverse data sources, while ensuring governance and security practices.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, contribute to Agile rituals, and own deliverables with a focus on quality, reliability, and scalability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data engineering, analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years designing and developing SQL-based pipelines, data transformations, and data models.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, and maintain SQL-based data pipelines, transformations, and data models in Snowflake and other cloud environments.
• Develop Python-based data processing, automation, and integration workflows.
• Ingest and process structured and semi-structured data from databases, APIs, files, SaaS apps, and cloud storage.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, dbt and orchestration tools (Dagster/Dagster-like).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments with quality and urgency.
• Use version control and CI/CD practices to develop, review, test, and deploy data solutions.
• Apply data-quality, governance, security, and privacy practices to data products.
• Troubleshoot data-pipeline issues, investigate root causes, and improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain documentation, monitoring, and operational procedures for pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
