Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Water Resources Engineer to join the Southern Ontario Mine Water Team in Mississauga. You will guide junior consultants, support senior engineers, and contribute to hydraulic and hydrologic solutions across Canada and beyond.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, mentor teammates, and work within a hybrid policy that balances onsite and remote collaboration. A strong background in water resources and design tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in water resources consulting projects.
• Valid professional designation in ON, or actively pursuing designation.
• Unrestricted full Class G Driver’s License (Ontario) and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with interdisciplinary project teams on complex water resources projects.
• Provide technical services related to mine water resources engineering.
• Contribute to hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design of water diversions and control structures.
• Lead projects and teams, mentor juniors, and share knowledge across Canada and globally.
• Support senior engineers and collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects locally, regionally, and internationally.
