Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer – Hydro & Dams to lead structural analysis, design, assessment, and rehabilitation of hydroelectric and dam infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership through feasibility to construction and dam safety evaluations.

Role includes mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with dam safety standards. English and French communication is essential in project delivery.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
Master’s degree preferred in structural/civil/water resources fields.
PhD considered an asset; P.Eng. designation preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design, analysis and assessment of dams, spillways and related infrastructure.
Perform advanced analyses for RC, steel, composite and hydraulic structures.
Lead rehabilitation, asset management and life-cycle evaluations for hydro facilities.
