OpsArmy in Colombia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have genuine accounting judgment, strong US tax knowledge, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues, communicating clearly via Zendesk, email, and phone. Remote work with US-hours coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to investigate and resolve escalated tickets.
• Experience with payroll and tax notices.
• Familiarity with keeping accurate customer records.

Responsabilités

• Provide Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll issues.
• Investigate and resolve escalated tax and accounting tickets.
• Review bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Document resolutions and maintain customer records.
• Work with Zendesk and email-style responses; phone support as needed.
