Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Senior US Tax & Accounting Specialist to provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping inquiries. The role demands strong accounting judgment, independent issue resolution, and the ability to explain tax topics to customers in English.

Key responsibilities include investigating escalated tickets, reviewing reconciliations, and supporting payroll questions.

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
Ability to handle complex tax and accounting inquiries and notices.
Strong English written and verbal communication.
Experience explaining complex topics to nontechnical customers.
Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Assist with tax notices, filing status questions, and tax return queries.
Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
Communicate findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled phone support.
Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, document resolutions.
