Opsarmy is seeking an experienced Senior US Tax & Accounting Specialist to provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. You will investigate escalated issues, review reconciliations, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

The role requires strong technical accounting judgment, the ability to work within staggered schedules that cover US business hours, and comfort with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows in a fast-paced tech

Formación

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and tax notices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with evolving workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
• Independently identify root causes and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
