Job summary

Softtek is seeking an experienced Unreal UI Engineer to translate designs into robust UI, build scalable components, and optimize performance across platforms. You will work with Widget Blueprints, C++, and data-driven ViewModels to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces.

Collaboration with UX, UI Art, and Engineering teams across multiple time zones is expected, with a focus on quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Experience translating wireframes and design concepts into development tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Editor and Widget Blueprints.
• Strong proficiency in Blueprint scripting for UI development.
• Experience designing scalable, reusable UI components.
• Knowledge of data-driven UI development with ViewModels and view binding.
• Experience integrating UI with application logic and data models.
• Responsive, localized, accessible UI design.
• UI performance optimization, profiling, memory management.
• UI memory optimization for UMG, Slate, and textures.
• Excellent documentation and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze features and wireframes to define technical implementation tasks.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance UIs using Unreal Editor and Blueprints.
• Implement UI interactions via Blueprint scripting.
• Design reusable, scalable UI components and data-driven solutions.
• Integrate UI with backend systems and data models.
• Ensure responsive, localized, accessible, high-quality interfaces.
• Profile and optimize UI performance and memory usage.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Art and Engineering teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to better development pipelines and documentation.
• Participate in meetings across time zones as required.
