Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a UI Programmer to join the Multiproduct team. You will contribute to designing and implementing UI, working with gameplay features, and delivering accessible frontend experiences across Fortnite experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Art, Design, Product and Performance teams, write reliable, maintainable code, and grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C++ and engine fundamentals.
• Experience building UI features for mobile platforms.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine and UMG/Slate.
• Experience with REST/Web services and network features.
• Clear, collaborative communication in remote teams.
• Interest in games and UI/UX design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of UI and its intersections with gameplay features and services.
• Optimize and fix bugs in existing UI systems.
• Build relationships with Art, Design, Product, and Performance teams.
• Work on cutting edge UI features across Fortnite experiences.
• Write and document reliable, maintainable frontend code.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, readability and functionality.
