Job summary

Huge is seeking a Senior UI Engineer in Colombia who will focus on React-based UI development and modernizing templated pages. You will convert legacy Liquid templates to modern React components, build reusable UI blocks, and collaborate across design and engineering teams.

• Strong hands-on experience with React and reusable component development.
• Direct experience with Liquid templates or similar templating engines such as Jinja, Nunjucks, or Twig.
• Experience migrating templated pages to modern React components within legacy architectures.
• Experience leveraging design systems and component libraries for scalable interfaces.

The role.

Huge is looking for a Senior UI Engineer with strong experience in React and hands-on knowledge of Liquid or similar templating engines. You’ll help build new UI components, develop resource pages, and modernize existing web architectures while working efficiently within complex codebases.

What we'd like to see.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance development speed with code quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with design and technology teams.
