Job summary

Huge is seeking a Senior UI Engineer in Colombia who will focus on React-based UI development and modernizing templated pages. You will convert legacy Liquid templates to modern React components, build reusable UI blocks, and collaborate across design and engineering teams.

You should have 5+ years in frontend or UI roles, strong React skills, and experience with Liquid or similar templating engines. The role supports a fully remote setup within Colombia and leverages design systems for scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend or UI engineering experience, preferably in agency or enterprise web environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and reusable component development.
• Direct experience with Liquid templates or similar templating engines such as Jinja, Nunjucks, or Twig.
• Experience migrating templated pages to modern React components within legacy architectures.
• Experience leveraging design systems and component libraries for scalable interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable UI components using React and modern frontend practices.
• Develop new resource pages and implement UI features within an existing platform.
• Adapt, migrate, and refactor legacy Liquid templates for modern frontend architecture.
• Work across React components and server-side templating environments to ensure consistency.
• Leverage design systems and libraries to accelerate development.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve coding efficiency and delivery speed.
• Refactor site architecture to improve code quality, maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design requirements into interfaces.
• Navigate complex codebases and meet tight delivery timelines.
