Cloudbeds is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Payments team and deliver scalable, secure payment solutions for thousands of customers worldwide. You will build and maintain PHP web applications, design resilient interfaces with partner APIs, and contribute to highly visible projects in a Remote First environment.

The team emphasizes security, observability, and collaboration with leadership to drive architectural decisions and long-term scalability across platforms.

Formación

• 5+ years of PHP web application software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL; tuning/optimization preferred.
• 1+ years designing and developing event-driven microservices in PHP or Java.
• Experience with modern infrastructure tooling: DataDog, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD.
• Strong business sense and ability to collaborate with leadership on visible projects.
• Dedication to observability with metrics, experiments, and prototypes.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and automated testing.
