BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Open Banking to design and maintain secure APIs and integrations for the evolving financial ecosystem. You will ensure PSD2 compliance and support account aggregation and payment initiation services.

This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation, flexible hours, and a global, multicultural team. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to define API standards and strengthen security across platforms.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Fintech or Banking systems.
• Proven expertise in building and integrating Open Banking APIs and financial services.
• Deep understanding of PSD2 compliance, account aggregation, and payment initiation.
• Strong knowledge of financial API security standards including FAPI.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining secure, scalable API architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and manage robust Open Banking APIs for secure data exchange.
• Implement PSD2-compliant solutions ensuring regulatory adherence and consumer protection.
• Build and optimize integrations for account aggregation and payment initiation.
• Ensure security of financial APIs by applying FAPI standards and strong authentication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API standards and security requirements.
• Monitor and improve Open Banking infrastructure performance and reliability.
