Job summary

Amadeus IT Group Colombia, S.A.S. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and evolve key components of the ABR rule engine.

You will own technical solutions from design to production, tackling performance and scalability challenges in a high-transaction environment. You will mentor peers, promote TDD and CI/CD, and collaborate with application teams, architects, and product stakeholders to shape the platform and its roadmap.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of backend software development experience.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade components.
• Experience with high-performance, low-latency, or large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large parts of the ABR platform, including the C++ rule engine and APIs.
• Own solutions from analysis to production with autonomy.
• Address performance, scalability, and caching challenges.
• Lead modernization efforts and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and best practices.
