Job summary

AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a Security Designer to develop integrated security solutions for data centers and commercial facilities. You will design access control, CCTV, intrusion, alarms and visitor management, coordinating with architects, engineers, and operations to deliver secure, compliant projects.

You will lead the development of drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities, while balancing design quality with efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit or equivalent
• English proficiency at an intermediate level in both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Design access control, CCTV, intrusion, alarms for data centers and commercial facilities
• Develop security zoning, policies and workflows
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, electrical, mechanical, ICT and operations teams
• Prepare drawings, specs and bills of quantities
• Gather engineering data using defined procedures and work within budget/schedule
• Collaborate to integrate security and building automation with IP-based tech
