Job summary

AECOM seeks an ICT Designer to develop integrated ICT solutions for data centers and commercial facilities, collaborating with architects, engineers and interior designers. The role emphasizes structured cabling, adherence to standards, and strong communication skills across teams.

The successful candidate will manage multiple design phases independently, balance design innovation with practicality, and ensure projects meet budget and schedule constraints while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of ICT design experience.
• Intermediate level of English, written and spoken.
• Experience in ICT infrastructure design for Data Centers and Commercial Facilities.
• Knowledge of codes and standards including IEEE C2, OSHA 1910, TIA, and BICSI TDMM.
• Current BICSI RCDD certification or other active BICSI certification.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design structured cabling systems (copper and fiber).
• Define cable pathways, containment, and spaces for multiple service providers.
• Specify racks elevations including ODFs and patch panels.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulations.
• Develop drawings, technical specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, security and operations teams.
• Collaborate to integrate security, building automation, energy/power management, and AV systems.
• Perform ICT design and consulting duties for Data Centers and Commercial Facilities.
• Gather and correlate engineering data and work within budget and schedule.
