Job summary

Rooted Life is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to own claims processing and denial resolution. You will submit claims, verify documentation, and work with payers to secure timely reimbursement.

This role requires 3–5 years in medical billing, strong CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. You will monitor denials, track performance metrics, and support process improvements across the RCM workflow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of medical billing and claims follow-up experience.
• Experience working with Medi-Cal/Medicaid preferred.
• Proficiency in CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and payer coding rules.
• Experience validating claims within an EHR system is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage daily claims across service lines to ensure timely billing.
• Validate claims against clinical documentation and encounter data.
• Monitor clearinghouse reports for denials and resubmit corrected claims.
• Track denials, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate with payers.
• Maintain billing logs, A/R aging, and month-end reconciliation support.
• Collaborate with care managers and clinical teams to secure complete documentation.
