Carbon Health is seeking a Medical Billing professional to complete billing tasks across our US clinics from a central location. You will ensure accurate patient billing, resolve denials, and support a smooth revenue cycle with our billing systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in Excel and Google Suite. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and process improvements.

• Minimum 24 months US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience.
• Ability to multitask across multiple billing tasks.
• Familiarity with Google Suite apps and Excel.
• Ability to stay focused and calm under stress.
• Strong knowledge of how US health insurance works.
• Must speak, read, and write English clearly and professionally.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow detailed instructions on claim processing projects to achieve high productivity.
• Research, process, and follow up on claim re-submittals.
• Research and resolve billing problems or issues.
• Maintain operational integrity by following policies and suggest process improvements.
• Understand Carbon’s payers, payer policies, payer portals, Billing Hub, and Waystar.
• Multitask across the above responsibilities.

THE JOB AT A GLANCE

This position is responsible for the completion of all tasks and duties required of a Medical Biller.These administrative and billing tasks are vital in ensuring our patients are billed accurately. This role is critical in maintaining patient satisfaction and operational success at our multiple clinics throughout the US from a central location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Follow detailed instructions on claim processing projects, establishing high rate of productivity
• Research, process and follow up on claim re-submittals
• Research and resolvebilling problems or issues
• Maintain operational integrity by following policies and procedures; but also suggesting process improvements that will benefit patients, clinicians, colleagues and overall operations
• Commanding understanding of Carbon’s payers and their policies, payer portals, billing hub, and Waystar
• Multi-tasking with all of the above

ABOUT YOU

• A minimum of 24 months US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Experience (Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, Denial & Rejection handling) is required
• Ability to multi-task with all of the above
• Familiarity with Google Suite apps and working knowledge of Excel
• Must have the ability to remain focused and calm during stressful situations
• In depth knowledge of how US health insurance works
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write in English clearly and professionally
• Possess strong organizational skills and prioritization
