Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Ethoca Finance Controllership team in Bogota. The role focuses on revenue accounting, billing cycles, and monthly closings to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will interact with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and contribute to process improvements and audit readiness in a fast-paced multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Experience with Netsuite and Oracle systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare revenue accruals and revenue true-ups monthly.
• Post monthly journal entries in Netsuite in alignment with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage monthly billing cycle for issuers and merchants.
• Prepare monthly sales tax reports for Mastercard entities and ad-hoc management reports.
• Perform month-end closing processes and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with SOX controls and internal/external audits.
