City of Columbia is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee staff and programs at a major recreation center. You will set goals, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality across activities.

Responsibilities include staff recruitment, program evaluation, grant participation, and collaboration with community groups. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Formación

• Knowledge of planning and providing community-based recreational services.
• Knowledge of developing and implementing senior and youth care activities and programs.
• Budget development and monitoring; program administration.
• City policies, demographics, and recreational issues.
• Recreation facility maintenance and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and supervise activities and staff for a recreation center or major program.
• Establish department goals and objectives.
• Assist in budget planning and cost estimates for programs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff (regular and temporary).
• Conduct program inspections for safety and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies.
• Prepare reports and annual program calendars.
• Promote programs and manage promotional materials.
