Electronic Arts Bogotá is seeking a Lead QA to drive testing strategy, champion data-informed decisions, and mentor QA/QV teams. You will oversee quality processes, align goals with roadmaps, and collaborate across time zones to deliver exceptional player experiences.

You will report to the Development Director and lead efforts in automation, innovation, and cross-team collaboration to elevate QA standards in game development.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Verification.
• Proven experience leading quality strategies for complex software or game development projects.
• Experience mentoring or leading QA/QV teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience translating metrics into data-driven decisions.
• Experience working across multiple locations and time zones.
• Experience with automation strategies and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
• Knowledge of software development practices, system architecture, and development risks.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement scalable testing strategies aligned with product and business priorities.
• Drive risk-based testing approaches and ensure test coverage across features and systems.
• Champion defect prevention, containment, and early QA involvement.
• Establish and oversee robust quality processes across projects.
• Align quality goals with development roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and translate telemetry into insights.
• Partner with automation and engineering teams to identify high-value automation opportunities.
• Mentor QV team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
