AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Developer to build and scale an event-driven integration platform, including APIs, resilience, and AI-facing integrations.

You will work on a backbone service that processes observations, intents, and outcomes, with contract-first interfaces and a durable event log. You will design the correlation and decision layer to produce ITSM actions, ensure exactly-once delivery, and implement diverse ingestion and webhook patterns.

Qualifikationen

• At least 4 years of production experience with Python, including typed, tested services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures with durable logs and retries.
• REST API design experience and practical knowledge of OpenAPI; familiarity with AsyncAPI contracts.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms.
• GenAI-assisted development and comfort using AI coding agents.
• Strong testing discipline (pytest), CI/CD pipelines, Linux, Git and containers.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve a Python service handling event taxonomy and a durable replayable event log.
• Design and maintain contract-first interfaces using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
• Create a correlation layer turning signals into ITSM actions, applied exactly once.
• Develop resilience mechanisms for degraded or unavailable upstream platforms.
• Support multiple access patterns: fire-and-forget, submit-and-poll, webhooks, streams.
