Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to design and operate AWS serverless infrastructure behind products used by millions. You will own features end to end, containerize services, and build infrastructure as code. You will work with Python, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB in a remote, flexible environment.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architecture, collaboration across teams, and a strong English proficiency as you shape scalable systems and APIs for web and mobile apps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement services on AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
