BairesDev in Colombia is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer specializing in Python to build scalable backend services on AWS. This is a hands-on role with features spanning design to deployment and direct impact on web and mobile experiences.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and AWS serverless tools (Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway) and databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. Excellent English is required in a global remote team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong Python proficiency
• Hands-on AWS Serverless experience
• PostgreSQL and DynamoDB experience
• Familiar with containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS)
• Advanced English proficiency
