Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Lead/Senior Project Scheduler to join the Mining & Metals team on large-scale industrial projects. You will plan, monitor, and control complex schedules and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Based in Medellín with a rotational travel model, you will visit client sites in Nicaragua and collaborate with regional and international stakeholders to drive project success and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience in Mining & Metals, heavy industrial, energy, infrastructure or large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and control project timelines to support on-time delivery.
• Support Project Controls Lead, Project Manager, and Project Director in schedule control and performance.
• Develop and implement scheduling strategies, procedures, and standards.
• Coordinate WBS/CBS development with PMs, cost managers, engineering, contractors, and clients.
• Maintain integrated schedules in Primavera P6 across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Ensure schedule integration across stakeholders; identify opportunities for improvement in logic, durations, and resource loading.
• Perform schedule quality assessments, critical path analysis, and risk reviews.
• Analyze contractor/subcontractor schedules and identify potential delays and mitigations.
• Generate regular scheduling reports and dashboards for decision-making.
