Job summary

Safeguard Global in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Principal Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across 2–4 software teams, including QA, to optimize velocity and predictability. As a senior individual contributor, you will mentor Scrum Masters and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to elevate practices, remove impediments, and drive strategic improvements.

This role requires advanced certifications and distributed teams experience, with a focus on shaping delivery

Qualifications

6–9 years in Agile software delivery.
At least 4 years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Experience supporting multiple concurrent teams.
Strong Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies.
Hands-on with Jira/Confluence.
Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and quality practices.
Excellent facilitation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Agile delivery across multiple teams and adapt Scrum and Kanban practices to team needs.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, cross-team planning, and coordination forums to manage dependencies and remove impediments.
Partner with Product Managers and Engineering leaders on roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, user stories, and delivery objectives.
Establish and scale Agile best practices, delivery standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor delivery metrics to identify and address performance gaps.
Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and Engineering Leads to strengthen Agile maturity.
