Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Payments, AP, or related roles.
• Advanced understanding of payment operations and related processes, systems and controls.
• Strong practical knowledge of PeopleSoft AP, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service, consultation and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear end-to-end process and service advice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to listen, gather information and requirements, and resolve complex payment inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve payment cycles and cheque printing runs.
• Monitor bank account funding used by Accounts Payable and analyze issues.
• Maintain operating procedures and standards for payment processing and oversight.
• Support the capture of accurate accounting entries for payments and own workstreams.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable processing personnel in Bogota to resolve issues.
• Prepare payment performance metrics, SLAs, KPIs and KRIs.
