Caseware is seeking a Staff Software Developer, a senior individual contributor, to shape architecture and standards across teams. The role is fully remote and based in Colombia, with responsibility for critical platform features and real-time collaboration challenges.

You will mentor engineers, lead architectural decisions, and drive reliability, observability, and cost‑efficient solutions while collaborating with product, security, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive server-side Java experience, SME across Java ecosystems.
• 8+ years in core Java and architectural influence.
• Experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS, with scalability and security focus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a core platform engineer, owning features end-to-end.
• Define and evolve scalable architecture and standards across teams.
• Lead architectural decisions via design reviews and RFCs.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and support production incidents.
