Publicis Sapient in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable microservices and enterprise APIs across distributed environments. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and MuleSoft, shaping integration layers and cloud-native solutions, while driving technical excellence and secure, reliable performance.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, OOP, concurrency, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Strong experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design, API versioning, error handling, and API lifecycle management.
• Security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API security practices.
• CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build secure, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Apply OO design, patterns, and domain-driven thinking for maintainable solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
