Publicis Sapient in Colombia is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable microservices and enterprise APIs powering critical business capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have deep Java expertise with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and MuleSoft integration. You will drive design discussions, implement secure APIs, and contribute to CI/CD, cloud-native deployments, and integration patterns.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, concurrency, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Strong experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, cloud-ready Java microservices using Spring Boot and modern software engineering practices.
• Build secure, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems aligned with business and architectural requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations that enable seamless communication between enterprise platforms and services.
• Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and champion engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
