Publicis Sapient, a digital transformation partner, is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable microservices and enterprise APIs. You will work across backend services, API layers, and cloud-native deployments while integrating enterprise applications through MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot expertise, distributed systems, security, and API governance in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, concurrency, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Strong experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design, API versioning, error handling, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL) and experience with NoSQL technologies is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Apply OOD, patterns, and domain-driven design.
• Lead design discussions, code reviews, and champion quality.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Design enterprise integration using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop and manage APIs with API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center.
• Use DataWeave for data transformations.
• Share API assets and governance practices.
• Monitor and optimize performance across distributed systems.
• Identify scalability and reliability improvements.
