Publicis Sapient in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable microservices and enterprise APIs that power critical business capabilities.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, with experience integrating enterprise applications and cloud-native solutions. You will work across backend services, APIs, and integration layers to ensure secure, reliable systems.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, concurrency, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Strong experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design, API versioning, error handling, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL technologies is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
