Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Backend Java Developer for our Bogotá team. You will work on Java 17, Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and engage with frontend Angular/TypeScript as needed.

The role involves cloud deployment on AWS and CI/CD pipelines, with strong emphasis on performance and reliability. We offer a permanent contract, access to extensive online training, weekly language classes, health coverage, life and accident insurance, and wellness perks.

Formación

• Experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot in a backend role.
• Frontend knowledge with Angular/TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD tooling.

Technical Skills:

• Backend: Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices
• Frontend (Working Knowledge): Angular, TypeScript, RxJS
• Databases: MS SQL Server – complex stored procedures, performance tuning, data analysis Oracle Database Azure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI)Strong SQL query development and troubleshooting skills across multiple database platforms
• Cloud (AWS): EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM
• DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, Harness.io, Docker
• Monitoring & Logging: Splunk, AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch
