Job summary

AECOM is seeking an ICT Designer to develop integrated ICT solutions for Data Centers and Commercial Facilities in Bogotá. The role requires collaboration with architects and engineers to create structured cabling systems and reliable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a degree with 6+ years of ICT design experience, fluency in English, and is proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Visio, and related tools. On-site work with relocation/sponsorship constraints noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of ICT design experience or equivalent.
• Intermediate English, written and spoken.
• 10+ years' ICT infrastructure design experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design structured cabling systems, both copper and fiber.
• Define cable pathways/containment and spaces to support multiple service providers and redundant entry paths.
• Specify racks' elevations including ODFs, patch panels, and other passive components.
• Ensure compliance with Codes, standards and regulations.
• Develop drawings, technical specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Coordinate closely with architecture, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, security, and operations.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security systems, building automation, energy and power management, and IP-based technologies.
• Apply ICT infrastructure knowledge to survey, design, development, and construction administration.
