Job summary

AECOM is seeking an ICT Designer in Medellín, Colombia to deliver integrated ICT solutions for data centers and commercial facilities. You will develop ICT concepts, designs, and documentation working with architects, engineers, and interior designers to ensure coherent, scalable infrastructure.

The role requires strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure and hands-on experience with a range of software tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, Visio, Bluebeam, MS Project and the MS 365 suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in ICT design or equivalent.
• Intermediate English, written and spoken.
• Experience with ICT infrastructure design in data centers or commercial facilities.
• Proficiency with listed software and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design structured ICT systems (copper and fiber) for data centers and commercial facilities.
• Define cabling paths, containment, and spaces for multiple providers and redundancy.
• Specify rack elevations including ODFs and panels.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Develop drawings, specs, and bills of quantities.
• Coordinate with architecture, electrical, security, and operations teams.
• Integrate security, building automation, energy and power management, and IP-based tech.
