Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to design and build production web systems. You will deliver accessible, high-performance UIs and reliable JVM- and TypeScript-based services on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing full-stack solutions, building TS/React features, developing backend services, and ensuring quality through comprehensive testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, including state management.
• Deep knowledge of UI accessibility patterns and browser performance optimization.
• Solid backend skills in Java or Kotlin on the JVM, or TypeScript for shared libraries.
• Extensive experience with gRPC + protobuf, HTTP, and REST.
• Hands-on data modeling experience with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Practical cloud platform experience using AWS, containers, and CI/CD.
• Rigorous testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsibilities

• Design full-stack solutions that meet product needs with clear trade-offs and scalable patterns.
• Build TypeScript and React features with accessible UI patterns and strong client performance.
• Develop backend services and shared libraries using Java/Kotlin on the JVM and TypeScript where appropriate.
• Implement service-to-service communication using gRPC/protobuf and integrate HTTP/REST APIs.
• Model and evolve data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support product features and reliability.
• Operate within AWS environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines to ship safely.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to protect quality and delivery speed.
• Coordinate cross-team technical decisions and drive design reviews.
• Improve observability and debuggability through structured logging and tracing practices.
• Document architecture, interfaces, and operational guidance for long-term ownership.
