Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a skilled JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to contribute to production web systems. You will build accessible, performant UIs and reliable JVM- and TypeScript-based services on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include implementing full-stack features, building TS/React components, and developing backend services using Java/Kotlin on the JVM. Expect AWS, containers, and CI/CD workflows, plus testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack web engineering experience with production systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, including state management.
• Strong understanding of UI accessibility patterns and browser performance optimization.
• Backend skills in Java or Kotlin on the JVM, or TypeScript for shared libraries.
• Experience with gRPC + protobuf, HTTP, and REST.
• Hands-on experience working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Practical cloud platform experience using AWS, containers, and CI/CD as a consumer.
• Solid testing habits across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Good collaboration and communication skills within a team.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1+ level).

Responsibilities

• Implement full-stack features that meet product needs, following established patterns.
• Build TS and React components with accessible UI patterns and good client performance.
• Develop backend services using Java or Kotlin on the JVM and TypeScript where appropriate.
• Work with service-to-service communication using gRPC/protobuf and integrate HTTP/REST APIs.
• Work with data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support product features.
• Operate in AWS environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines to ship changes safely.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to protect quality.
• Participate in technical discussions and design reviews with your team.
• Contribute to observability and debuggability via structured logging and tracing.
• Document features, interfaces, and operational notes for maintenance.
